At Mahendra Memorial School, we strive to maintain transparency and fairness in all our administrative processes, including admissions, fee collection, cancellations, and refunds. Please read the following policy carefully.

1. Admission Cancellation

• If a parent/guardian wishes to cancel the admission of their ward, a formal written request must be submitted to the school office or emailed to the official school email address.

• The cancellation must be made before the commencement of the academic session or within 15 days of admission, whichever is earlier, to be eligible for a refund as per the refund policy.

2. Refund Eligibility

• Before the session begins:

  • Registration Fee: Non-refundable.

  • Admission Fee: 50% refundable if cancellation is made within 15 days of admission.

  • Tuition Fee (if paid): Fully refundable.

• After the session begins:

  • No refund of registration, admission, or tuition fees will be made once the academic session has started.

  • Any refund request for special cases (medical, transfer, etc.) will be considered at the discretion of the school management with valid documentation.

3. Refund Process

• Approved refunds will be processed within 15–30 working days from the date of approval.

• Refunds will be made via the original mode of payment or by cheque to the parent/guardian’s registered name.

• All applicable taxes and transaction charges, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount.

4. Online Payment Issues

• If a payment has been made online and the amount is deducted but not credited to the school account, the same must be reported to the school office immediately with the transaction reference number.

• Any such issues will be resolved in coordination with the payment gateway provider.

5. School’s Right to Cancel

• The school reserves the right to cancel an admission under circumstances such as submission of false information, non-compliance with school rules, or non-payment of fees.

• In such cases, any refund will be as per the discretion of the school management.
